ABOUT OUCAN

OUCAN is a collaboration among members of the Ohio University family and the surrounding Athens community to achieve the full integration of climate reality into university policy, curriculum, infrastructure, culture, and relations with Athens and our other neighbors. We are dedicated to becoming the interface through which all pro-environmental organizations communicate, collaborate, and support one another.

OU can be a leader in the movement to protect and enhance our future. OU can maximize energy efficiency, move our power sourcing to renewables, shift our financial investments in the fossil fuel industry to support the alternative energy industry, and cultivate environmental responsibility and justice. OU CAN.
